You are buying three items. All are new Great for anyone with a western decor theme room or little boys bedroom or bathroom. The book ends are very heavy. They are new and made of some type of heavy resin or plaster. They alone weigh 6 pounds. As far as the towel holder,
I don't have a horse but I think this is the actual size of a horse shoe. It is made of iron and is 7" long. The circular portion that is 4" to hold a towel, a cup, or even a small plantar . it has an extra bracket in there to hold it open and secure.   The only thing is you have to find your own hardware to attach it to the wall, but I think it is simply two little screws. I lost the hardware somewhere along the way, if it even came with  hardware. I can't remember.  A cute idea if you have western decor and don't want to use it as a towel holder is find a 4" pot with a cactus in it at a craft store.
