    Description

Vintage Hand Painted Wood Carved Art Oriental Man Carrying Bamboo 5.5” Korea. Condition is "Used". This guys been buried in my basement for a long time. I had to make some adjustment to his backpack because one of the sticks must’ve broke and so I took his bamboo and just tied it with a piece of twine all of the bamboo pieces are there there are some other fix wire that was older that put it together. The original rope and the wire on the bottom was original from when I got this I just added the recent bamboo so that I could adhere all of the pieces together. He is not broken just dirty. I don’t really like to clean things because I am not a professional. I’d rather leave it to someone who knows how to do this either repaint it or clean it then run it. He is on a piece of a little wood. The whole entire piece is 5.5 inches. One of his arms is folded up and the other is lying straight. He seems to be like a bang bang man. I tried to read up on who or what he was called but I’m not sure if that’s it. I just know that I collected him along time ago when I was little in my teens and I’m 56 now. The bottom says Korea. I had him with a box of occupied Japan stuff that I buried in my basement for years because I just don’t have the shelf space and also because I’ve been a hoarder. Not a bad horror a good order. My mother used to go to yard sales when I was little and I would go with her. And I spent my allowance my .50 that I got each week week when I was 10 Years old and I first moved to Staten Island from Brooklyn my mother and my aunt used to go to yard sales. I got a three dollar allowance each week so I would take that with me and go with them and buy whatever I thought was cool. Needless to say I had a lot more stuff that my mother threw out over the years because I collected everything. So I hope somebody appreciates him and knows what this is more than myself so that they could at least find a nice piece of treasure. I’m open to offers as well thank you for looking
