Vintage ESSO Happy Motoring Travel Jug/Thermos by the makers of the SKOTCH KOOLER. Great display piece for any collector of oil, gas, automotive, or travel items. Colorful Cartoon Map of US with the oil drop ESSO mascot featured throughout the states with a pictorial view of the states and what they were known for. Circa 1960s.  Promotional item available at ESSO gas stations, the predecessor of today's EXXON. Approximately 9"Hx6" in Diameter. Steel/Tin outside with insulation and glass interior.  It appears to hold about 2 quarts.  Paint flaking on edges, top and bottom.  The map of United States appears to be in excellent condition--no dents, paint flakes or fading. Original cooler/travel jug with a replacement blue plastic lid. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
