    Description

    Pair of antique Chinese "hat" chairs, Teili wood, Shanxi province in excellent condition. Solid yet elegant with a lovely burgundy patina. Includes certificate from HK antique store that we purchased them from in 2003. We recently moved back to the US and are downsizing. Hat chair designation refers to the top rail, which is similar in shape to hats worn by imperial Chinese officials.
