This "long bar and shield" featured in this patch is what the original bar and shield logo looked like in 1910 (the patch itself was manufactured in the 1980s). Most patches like this have "Trademark" written under the bar. This patch is additionally unique in not having that. This is an authentic, officially licensed product, as you can see in pictures of the back.
