    Cut your tooling costs in half by paying half price! Glacern ER collet chucks offer outstanding value and top-of-the-line quality.
    Each chuck starts out as a bar of 4100 series alloy steel. After turning, chucks are hardened through carburization to 55 HRC. Electroless nickel plating is then applied, which will never flake and offers substatial abrasion and corrosion resistance compared to black oxide. Finally, chucks are precision ground to extremely tight tolerances. TIR at the collet taper relative to the machine taper is less than 0.0001".
