Inspired by the Jewish prayer box or tefillin, this sterling silver pendant hinges open to allow you to carry with you a small slip of paper or parchment with a prayer. It is also the perfect size to hold a lock of hair, scented bit of cloth or a few pills for the day. This wonderful pendant measures 1/2" x 1/2" x 5/8".  It is marked '925' for 925/1000 pure sterling (marked inside)
