Presented for your consideration is this old jukebox speaker. The tear drop shaped speaker is a wall mount remote speaker for a Seeburg jukebox. The speaker is housed in a dark purple-brown bakelite basing with two openings on the front that are covered with yellow mesh. The top speaker is marked with "Seeburg" across the middle. The back of the speaker has the original label intact that states this is a Seeburg type RSI-8 speaker made by the J.P. Seeburg Corp. in Chicago. The serial number is 56760. The original power cord is intact but it is recommended that it be replaced as some of the sheathing has worn. No other wires are included. This neat speaker would make a great addition to any jukebox memorabilia collection!
The speaker is untested, therefore we are unsure if it is in working condition or not. There is some light staining on the mesh and some light pitting is on the chrome edging. Typical light wear from age and use. Overall in GOOD-VERY GOOD condition. Sold as found. Please refer to the photos for the best details.
Measures 16 1/2" long, 10 1/2" wide and 5 1/4" deep.
