    Lacquerware Plate Mother of Pearl Korean Nacre Chinoiserie Folk Art Cranes 7".
    This beautiful plate is decorated with mother of pearl design that depicts a serene image of cranes under an old pine tree delighting in a romantic moment under the full moon. The pine tree is a symbol of elevated consciousness and dignified spirit, and cranes represent nobility.
    It is individually handcrafted using unique Korean traditional mother of pearl inlay techniques that have lasted thousands of years. Through repetitive and precise workmanship by using abalone growing naturally in deep sea, conch, lumber, feldspar and other various materials to form a beautiful mosaic.
    Approx 7.1" (18 cm) Diameter.
    Preowned art piece in excellent condition. Signs of light wear from being displayed.
