    Description

This traditional Korean shaped vase is Korean celadon, glazed over crackled finish, and has a motif of field chrysanthemums encircling the entire vase. The vase sits atop a carved wood stand perfectly and measures over 8" in height from the bottom of the stand to the top of the vase.  Celadon is a term for pottery denoting both wares glazed in the jade green celadon color, also known as greenware, and a type of transparent glaze, often with small cracks, that was first used on greenware, but later used on other Asian porcelains as well.
