This tool holder features nickel plating to prevent rust and prevent wear. Unfortunately the perfect alloys (including stainless) for tool holders are not rust free. Every alloy used by top brands will rust. To go a step above, this tool holder has a uniform nickel plating that will resist corrosion while keeping a tight runout. Nickel plating is also tough and will prevent wear causing this holder to keeps it's precision longer with repeated use.
