Hardinge Sjogren 2J Lathe Speed Chuck #2
no backing plate.
Chuck has two "bubba marks" on the back (please see photo circled in red)
aside from those issues, the rest of the chuck seems to be in usable condition with normal wear, tear, scratches on chuck body and hand wheel.
No cracks, repairs or signs or a wreck are present (aside for circled marks on back)
The handle wheel spins, the bore/taper appears to be in good shape with no gouges and the key is intact.
I sprayed it with penetrating oil, inserted a collet and it tightened up with little effort.
I have not had this chuck apart and have not used it on a lathe so I cannot attest to its accuracy.

Hardinge collets all seem to be in fair to good condition with nothing greater than normal wear and tear and light oxidation in small areas.
