WHY TAKE THE TIME TO BUILD YOUR OWN MODEL WAGON WHEN YOU CAN SIMPLY ACQUIRE A COMPLETELY FINISHED MODEL WAGON...
If interested in scaled models of horse-drawn wagons, I am currently offering (4) four different completely finished horse-drawn wagon display models for your consideration.  Please take the time to look at the other wagon models I currently have listed.  The (4) four different display models available are as follows, the
    Conestoga Wagon
    , a
    Chuck Wagon
    , a
    Covered Wagon
    and a
    Santa Fe Brewery Beer Wagon
.  I only have one (1) of each listed wagon model so when that wagon is sold, it is gone forever.
Note; this completely built and finely finished vintage wood model is over 40 years old and is definitely
    NOT A TOY
.  This model is for display purposes only as it was painstakingly handcrafted and finely detailed making it much too delicate of a piece to be roughly handled; much less played with.
The finished Conestoga wagon model has overall measurements of approximately 16.75" long by 6.75" high and 4.75" wide.  The rear wheels measure approximately 3.50" in diameter and the front wheels approximately 2.50" in diameter.  The left side of the wagon bed features a simulated tool box and the right side a water barrel.  The cloth canopy that covers the bed of the wagon is authentic looking and free from damage.  The four wheels are fixed and do not rotate.  The model has some light surface dust from being on display for many years.  Honestly, I always liked the dust as it lent itself to the overall character and authentic appearance of the piece.  Please refer to the description photos for more details about the current condition of the wagon and about what I have described.
Included with this wagon are the original "
    ALLWOOD BRAND
" detailed factory instruction sheets (not pictured) on how to build both the Conestoga wagon and the individual wagon wheels.
NOTE; SPECIAL SHIPPING PRECAUTIONS WILL BE TAKEN
    .
Due to the delicate nature of this beautifully finished wood model special precautions and time will be taken to ensure safe packaging and delivery.  To that end, the model will be precisely hand-fitted on to an approximate 2.25" thick by 19.0" long and 10.0" wide foam base in an effort to prevent the model from movement during transport.  In addition, the wagon bed and wheels will be safely sandwiched between two pieces of approximately 2.0" thick by 2.0" wide and 10.0" long pieces of protective foam.  Then, the entire model will be wrapped in cellophane thus securing it to the foam base thereby preventing any of the model's moving parts from being adversely moved and/or damaged during shipment.  All of the aforementioned will then be safely secured inside an approximate 19.0" x 10.0" x 9.0" "inner" cardboard box before being completely filled with protective Styrofoam peanuts to
    help
further insulate and protect the model from incurring any damage during shipment.  The "inner box" as described above will then be double secured with additional surrounding protective Styrofoam peanuts after being placed inside an "outer" shipping box that measures approximately 24.0" long by 12.0" wide and 12.0" high.  I believe the double boxing and insulating measures described will offer the best assurance that the "inner box", containing the fragile contents, will remain safely suspended while being shipped inside the "outer box" shell.
NOTE. I WILL MESSAGE THE BUYER AND ATTACH NUMEROUS PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE AFOREMENTIONED PACKING PROCESS DOCUMENTING THE EXTREME PRECAUTIONS TAKEN TO PROTECT THIS GORGEOUS CONESTOGA WAGON MODEL
    .
    NOTE; UPON THE WAGON'S DELIVERY
    .
Upon delivery, the Buyer is cautioned to be slow and methodical when they are removing the protective wrapping and to exercise extreme care when attempting to separate the wagon from the "inner" box's protective packaging so as not to accidentally cause any unintended damage to the wagon in the process.
Overall, this model wagon will make an absolutely fantastic and great looking display piece upon a wall shelf, a desk or wherever.  I am certain its finished details and realistic looks will draw the attention and imaginations of all who see it.
Please look at the photos closely as they confirm the condition of the model wagon I describe and accurately depict the exact wagon you will receive if you purchase this piece.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding this item please email me and I will respond ASAP.
