Beyer #5016 Alabaster G1 Morgan Stallion - Excellent Condition - Free Shipping

When Breyer first started making Stablemates in 1975 they had some confusion as to what some of the molds were. As a result, the Morgan stallion was originally identified as an Arabian stallion and was released in alabaster and dapple grey. The Arabian stallion was actually made in bay only and marketed as Citation. I remember the packaging, I had that packaging as a kid and I sure wish I had it now.  Anyway, it wasn't too awful long before Breyer realized their mistake and corrected it and the exotic alabaster and dapple grey coloring was gone from the the line up. All that was to explain why this number is shared by both the G1 Arabian stallion and the G1 Morgan stallion that masqueraded as an Arabian for a time.  He is in wonderful condition and will make a great addition to your collection.
