Harvested at the end of summer from the white sage shrubs on our property or when the stalks produce seeds. Last photo shows some white sage that just sprouted this month Nov 2020. We do not use any GE (genetically engineered) or GMO (genetically modified organisms) seeds, these are all natural, harvested from the White sage here at home. Ask me for more info anytime.
Remember, success with this plant requires: lots of heat, light and well draining soil. It is a desert native, so it will not like humidity.
One of the last  photos shows 10-15k seeds.
White Sage shrubs are easy to maintain, drought tolerant, prolific grower, long growing season, attracts pollinators, medicinal and flavorful.
Difficulty level: germination rate of white sage is very low, with a success rate of 15%. (Extremely difficult to grow) Instructions come with the seeds.
-Sage Smudging is a ritual where the leaves of the Sage plant are burned, and the smoke is directed into and onto areas that are in need of clearing and protection.
The smudging ceremony is a Native American tradition that cleanses bad feelings and negative spirits. Smudging is done by burning specific dried herbs and letting the smoke float around the house.
Minimally Processed White Sage seeds, some seed pod material will be in the bag, its natural.
The USDA indicates that, as of October, 2010, the herb is discovered growing wild exclusively in eight counties located in the southern areas of California, with no distribution in the central or northern portion of the state. The backcountry of Riverside and San Diego (where we are located) Counties, as well as San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles and Orange Counties, are ideal locations to pick wild white sage. The plant can also be found in Baja California.

Comes with instructions but here is a quick tip -I recommend using seed starting soil with a thick layer of Vermiculite and use a seed starting tray or simply a large pot filled only halfway w/ soil.

    SOWING:
Requires full or partial sun, and good drainage. These are hard to grow sometimes. Neither seeds nor cuttings have a success rate of over 40%.
Transplant (recommended): Start seeds 8 weeks before the last frost. Sow 2-3 seeds, 1/4" deep into individual containers, thinning to one plant per cell after germination. Transplant outside in the spring, spacing the plants 12-18" apart, in rows 18" apart.
Direct seed: Sow in the spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Plant seeds 1/4" deep, 1 seed every 2-3". Thin to stand 12-18" apart.
    DAYS TO GERMINATION:
    7-14 days.
LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun. Tender perennial in Zones 6-9.
SOIL REQUIREMENTS: Will grow in most average to light, well-drained garden soils. Good drainage is essential for overwintering.
PLANT HEIGHT: 16-60". Fast growing, evergreen perennial to 5 feet tall
White flowers on 3 foot spike arch over silver white foliage,
    bloom spring/summer
    PLANT SPACING: 12-18".
    HARDINESS ZONES: Zones 6-9.
    HARVEST:
Individual leaves or branches can be harvested the first year once the plants have become established. In the second and subsequent years cut stems to within 6" of the base of the plant just as flowers are starting to open. Hang small bunches of white sage upside down to dry in a well-ventilated location out of direct sunlight.
Planting Directions: Sow seed in well drained seed starting mix with soil temperature of 70-80˚. Plant seed about ¼” deep and keep planting medium barely moist until germination occurs usually in 7-21 days. Transplant when plants produce the third set of leaves and soil temperature is at least 65˚. Place plants 15” apart. Grow in full to near full sun. If your soil is acid, work in ¼ cup of lime into the planting hole.
    Germination : Helpful hints...
Use a cap full of Hydrogen Peroxide with a small bottle of water 1/20 approx. then sprinkle paper towel with mixture. Lay seeds on towel. Put another towel over seeds, then spray more water mixture with Peroxide.. Put towel with w\seeds in a zip lock bag. Wait 7 days. After germination , plant the seeds..
(The peroxide helps break down the shell
of the seed and expose the tap root. You
just need a tiny drop of peroxide - about
1/20th of the amount of water in the cup or
something like one ounce per pimy of
    water
    Note:
A favorite nectar plant for bees. In areas where the temperature regularly falls below 10°F (-12°C), cut back and mulch the plants heavily in late fall or dig up, pot, and bring the plants inside to overwinter.
Once established, white sage can be propagated by making softwood cuttings in spring or early summer.
